MEET THE CREW
JOHN CAPEL
Branch Manager
John joined Cruise Saver Travel in 1997 after five years with
Bournemouth Tourism Department.
He remembers getting bitten by the cruise bug when as a
youngster he travelled on P&O Cruises Chusan and
Since then, he has cruised extensively with P&O, Cunard,
Princess,
Costa, NCL,
Seabourn, and Silversea.
Cruising has enabled him to visit some amazing destinations
including
Holder of a Black Belt in the martial-art of Shorinji Kempo, John
represented the
for Fighting Arts magazine during the 1980’s.
SUSAN HANSON
Assistant Manager
Sue has worked in various sectors of the travel industry
since leaving school and has brought a wealth of experience
to Cruise Saver Travel since joining us in 2000.
With a love for cruising, she has a vast knowledge of all
of the major cruise lines and has experienced some of the
most beautiful cruise destinations in the world.
In her spare time, Sue enjoys travelling, walking and the theatre.
We have suggested that she can combine all three if she walks
to the theatre!
JAMES HILL
Senior Cruise Consultant
James interest in the travel industry commenced at
the turn of the Millennium when he studied for a
double AVCE in Travel & Tourism.
Since 2002, James has worked as a cruise specialist
for Cruise Saver Travel and has first-hand experience
on many of the major cruise lines including P&O, Fred
Olsen, NCL, Royal
In his spare time he likes to play golf, football and socialise
with family and friends.
RICHARD LUCAS
Senior Cruise Consultant
Richard joined us in 2003 after graduating from the
Tourism Management.
Whilst working for us, he has cruised with P&O Cruises,
Princess, Cunard, Costa, Holand America and
Fred Olsen to many destinations including North,
Central & South America, the
Richard enjoys comedy and likes to tell jokes. He is presently
on the lookout for a new one which will bring his total to two!
CARLA LEECH
Cruise Consultant
Carla joined Cruise Saver Travel in 2004 and thoroughly enjoys
working in the cruise industry.
She has cruised with P&O Cruises,
Safari Club, Holland America and Fred Olsen to the
Norwegian Fjords,
In her spare time Carla likes Salsa and Ballroom dancing and is
a keen traveller with a passion for food.
KELLY-MARIE WOODFORD
Cruise Consultant
Kelly joined us in 2006 after a period of working onboard
Crown Princess.
Whilst with Cruise Saver Travel, she has enhanced her
knowledge of the cruise industry with experience on P&O,
Ocean Village, Holland America, Cunard and Fred Olsen ships.
In her spare time, Kelly likes to twirl her baton at Majorette
classes and visit the gym. She also likes to travel and admits
to being a serial shopper.
MARINA TERRY
Cruise Consultant
Brittany Ferries, both shore based and at sea.
She brings with her a wealth of experience gained in the
Reservations and Administration departments.

MARK NEWBURY
Cruise Consultant
Mark joined us in 2007 and recently transferred to the Reservation department.
With experience on P&O Cruises, Holland America and Cunard. Mark has travelled to

TRACEY GILLINGHAM
Web Administrator
Tracey joined us originally in 2000 as an administrator and transferred to the
Reservations department in 2002.
In 2005 she left us to work in I.T. but has recently rejoined us to look after
our website. Tracey has a wealth of cruise knowledge, including first-hand
experience on Princess, Swan Hellenic, Cunard, P&O Cruises, Ocean Village,
NCL and Fred Olsen ships.
In her spare time she enjoys keeping fit and socialising with her friends.

Corin Pat Marisol Maureen Shirley
CORIN LOVE
Corin is the newest member of our administration team and joined us in 2007.
She lists her interests as netball and shopping!
PAT LONGSTAFF
Pat joined our team in 2001 after many years in the engineering industry.
A lover of outdoor activities, Pat is a keen cyclist and lists walking and gardening
as her other hobbies.
MARISOL LEWIS
Marisol, who is bi-lingual and fluent in Spanish, has been working in the travel
industry since 1995 and joined Cruise Saver Travel in 2001.
In her spare time, she enjoys the great outdoors with her young family.
MAUREEN SEABRIGHT
Maureen joined us in 2001 and just loves to travel. So much so that she says in
her spare time she goes to work!
When she is not travelling or working, Maureen is a keen golfer and enjoys indoor bowls.
SHIRLEY PHILPOTT
Shirley has been associated with travel since 2002. Also bitten by the cruise bug,
she likes to go cruising whenever the opportunity arises.
Away from the office, Shirley enjoys mo-jiving and cycling, but not at the same time!
